Surprisingly, malam ni masih ada lebihan energy. Hidup sekarang dah tak sama macam dulu, as in sebelum kahwin, sebelum ada suami, sebelum ada komitmen, dan sebelum ada anak. But, change is part of our life. Embrace every moment, and just live the life.

5th Hypnobirth Class with Nadine Ghows

The final class with Nadine is finally here. And ironically, we arrived late. Sigh. When we arrived, Nadine already started the class with birth video. You know, when I entered the house and knowing that this will be the last class for us, make me feels gloomy. Because I love all the classes, get to learn about my body, the baby's ability and also the beauty about birth itself.

4th class with Nadine was the most emotional class I've attended so far. I was surprised with my own self too for crying during the class. Without me realizing it, I am currently struggling with my own self in making the best decision for me and the baby.

3rd Hypnobirth Class with Nadine Ghows

Our 3rd class with Nadine is the class that I've been waiting for. We've discussed on the mind and physical/body preparation for the birth day. This topic has strengthened my belief that early preparation including physical movements and mentally readiness throughout pregnancy has a strong correlation with the birth process itself.

2nd Hypnobirth Class with Nadine Ghows

Following my 1st hypnobirth class with Nadine last Sunday (1st May 2016), I was so excited and looked forward for the 2nd class. Since I left the 1st class, I've been reading the Hypnobirthing book; the Mongan Method as recommended. And as I kept reading, my strong inner state was telling me, 'this is totally what I've been wanting for my birth'. I want a very calm, joyful and loving entrance for my baby. Birth should be an unforgettable moment, beautifully expressed and surrounded with wonderful people.

Experiencing my 3rd pregnancy is not an excuse for me to have the high level of anxiety and fear of giving birth. Giving birth is not only about breathe the baby out but my main concern is to ensure that the baby is safe and healthy and as for the mother (me lah tu), the birth experience should be gentle and with no / at least minimal traumatic incidents.

Happy 1st Birthday Aisha! Her 1 year Journey.

As some of you may know, we have such a joyful family moment when Aisha turns 1 year old. It's cliche to say that I can still feel the pain or it feels like yesterday when we were in the labour room waiting for her arrival. But, they are all true. Even when she turns 2, 3 or 20, I might say the same thing.

Jadi ibu je, bukan Pelumba..

Seringkali isu 'motherhood contest' dibangkitkan. Terutamanya buat ibu-ibu baru. Tentunya saya tak terkecuali dengan situasi macam ni, samada secara langsung atau pun tak.

Mengecewakan bila situasi macam ni berlaku. Kalau dulu.. Zaman nenek dan mak kita, motherhood contest ni kita boleh dengar kalau berjumpa time raya ke, family gathering ke, berkunjung ke rumah orang ke.. Ibaratnya tak lah hari-hari pun terkesan dengan hal macam ni..

Tapi~~~

Sekarang ni, facebook, instagram, twitter dan segala social media network penuh dengan situasi motherhood contest ni.. termasuklah bila ber'gathering'. We can't change what people wants to say or think. But, we can just be a MOTHER..

Manjakan anak boleh ke?

Serius cepat masa berlalu sekarang ni. Sedar macam tak je Aisha dah nak masuk 9 bulan. Setiap hari tengok dia membesar dengan perangai yang macam-macam tu, tercalit rasa seronok. Sampaikan kadang tu, macam tak percaya. Sebab diberi peluang untuk rasa pengalaman pembesaran anak normal, yang seiring dengan 'milestone' harus secara medikal nya. Syukur, sebab atas nikmat apa lagi yang kita nak dustakan. 

Ke Krabi. In flight dengan babies..

Percutian melibatkan anak-anak selalunya mencabar. That was what I heard before we went to Krabi! Dalam hati, I am being denial and assured that the kids will behave as what and how I am thinking they will and surprisingly, they are!

Anyway, saya, family & kawan-kawan bercuti ke Krabi masa cuti hari pekerja 1 Mei haritu. Subhanallah, cantiknya Krabi dan nak pergi lagi kalau ada rezeki. Tapi saya nak cerita perihal kami anak-beranak dalam flight. Such an interesting experience since this is the babies' first time in flight. Eh, bukan dorang je.. Husband pun first time!! Hahaha.

Aisha's special day.. Majlis Aqiqah..

Assalammualaikum.

6 Disember haritu, selesai urusan Majlis Aqiqah Aisha Amani. For some people, majlis is not a necessary, I know. I'm organizing majlis for Aisha just because I want to. It gives me happiness, so why not?

Organizing a majlis is not as easy as saying 'Yang, jom buat aqiqah Aisha!'. haha, (Husband mesti geleng kepala baca ni.. ). So, as always, I have my own checklist. 

Invitation Card

Nampak macam beria sangat, I know (dari soksek soksek mulut orang). I don't care! haha. Anyway, I tempah design card daripada Farah Kamal. The same person yang design cards untuk Majlis Aqiqah Irfan dulu. I love her artwork, she can cater my request very precisely. 

So, below is the card design. The theme color is grey and pink.

Selain invitation card, I request untuk buat Wishes Card jugak. Just for fun!

Other medium of invitation is through phone calls, sms and also whatsapp! (Teknologi sangat membantu..) 

Buaian Berendoi

Lagi nampak beria kan? Haha. Whateverrrrr.... So! I minta tolong Farah Syaza daripada Bridal and All (@bridalandall) untuk deco. I request yang sweet, simple tapi nak macam classy sikit. And below is the final result. Alamakkk serius.. Cantik kan? Simple je camtu.

Food Selection

Food selection ni paling leceh sekali nak fikir. Sebab bulan doblas ni, ramai sangat kahwin, asyik makan nasi minyak je. So, mama I nak cuba buat majlis dengan menu arab. Interesting!! Our official caterer daripada Half Moon Restaurant dari Seri Kembangan. 

Kambing yang diniatkan untuk aqiqah pula, I request caterer Half Moon untuk masakkan style arab. Daripada proses selection kambing up to kambing masak Kabsah, semua caterer uruskan. 

Selain order makanan daripada Half Moon, I ada buat outside order lain untuk bihun soto dan kuih. Untuk manis mulut macam tu.

Pemilihan Baju

Tak nak ketinggalan dengan arus mak bergaya over untuk majlis aqiqah anak, I tempah baju dengan Farah Farihin daripada @fjcouture . (Honestly Farah, I am so sorry, I fussy sangat with the design and measurement semua..)

And that is all my major checklist for the majlis. Tapi sesungguhnya, I nak berterima kasih sangat dengan mama. Daripada proses perancangan hingga menjayakan majlis ni, semua mama yang bagi idea, bagi approval, fikir itu fikir ini. Yang I tau semua ada je. hahah!

Selain tu, nak juga berterima kasih kepada ibu mertuaku (the one yang pegang tangan mama I tu) dan kakak ipar I (yang bercekak pinggang) sebab banyak tolong sana tolong sini. heheee~~

Dan akhir sekali, terima kasih sangat sangat sangat kepada Papa. He is the man behind everything! 

Cukup dengan ucapan terima kasih. I share sikit the process sepanjang majlis. Majlis bermula dengan marhaban (I invite group marhaban dari kampung sebelah). I dengan Aisha kena duduk dekat pelamin berendoi tu, dengar alunan marhaban mendayu-dayu. Sedih bila dengar the lyric. Betul-betul selesai bacaan doa selamat semua, I kena pegang Aisha then pusing keliling group marhaban untuk cukur jambul. 

Masa pusing-pusing tu, anyone yang rasa nak gunting sikit, boleh gunting. Aisha pun diam je, tak paham apa.

Selesai marhaban, selesai lah kiranya. Yang selepas-selepas tu, makan makan. 

Ini aunty Fandy..
